Susan Sattler-Augustin , DVM, Diplomate ABVP

After graduating summa cum laude from both the University of South Florida and Florida State University, Dr. Susan Sattler received her veterinary medical degree from the University of Florida in 1983. She then furthered her education receiving the elite specialization in avian medicine and surgery from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 1995. Dr. Sattler has practiced companion and exotic medicine for almost three decades in a private practice setting.

Dr. Sattler is a highly respected member of the International Association of Avian Veterinarians and has served as the President and Education chairperson for over ten years. She has also been a long time member of numerous veterinary societies including the Amercian Veterinary Medical Association, the Suncoast Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Sattler opened her state of the art private practice in December of 2009, where she practices avian, exotic, and companion animal medicine and surgery. The advanced diagnostic capabilities at Advanced Veterinary Care affords extremely high quality of care at reasonable prices.

Dr. Sattler's staff pride themselves in being able to say that Dr. Sattler is committed to give the very best care to all of her patients. Her dedication to animals is unmeasureable and she makes it her mission to establish a truly compassionate relationship with all of her patients and their owners.

Dr. Sattler and her husband of 27 years, Mark, have a son named Dustin who is presently attending college at MTSU in Tennessee. Their family enjoys a multitude of outdoor sports including diving, fishing, skiing, paddle boarding and canoeing. Their family also consists of a kitty by the name of Alo and the newest addition, Chance, who was rescued as a puppy from the talons of a hawk.

 

Valerie Fucci, DVM

After receiving her bachelor's and master's degrees from Iowa State University, Dr. Fucci graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from ISU in 1985. After graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Fucci received an additional 3 years of advanced surgical training at Louisiana State University where she completed her second Master of Science degree.  Shortly after, she was awarded the elite Diplomate status with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in 1992. After years of rehabilitating post-operative patients from her surgical practice, Dr. Fucci developed a keen interest in veterinary rehabilitation. She continued to further her education and became certified as a Rehabilitation Practitioner in 2005 and later became certified in Veterinary Chiropractic in 2015. Dr. Fucci's love for animals inspires her to provide the best possible care for your pets.  Dr. Fucci is owned by 4 adorable pups (Brooke, Pompnet, Rodney, & Ruby).

 

 Glenn Smith, DVM

Dr. Smith graduated with his veterinary degree in 1988 from Oklahoma State University.  He owned and operated Sunshine Animal Hospital in Clearwater prior to semi-retiring in 2015.  He now enjoys traveling acoss the United States with his wife Amanda and has a keen interest in photography and kayaking.  Dr. Smith has two grown children, Brian and Claire, in addition to his four-legged children; 2 cats (Thelma & Louise) and a very spoiled yorkie named Sassy.

 

Eva Divita, DVM

Dr. Eva Divita graduated with her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from the Texas A & M University in 1984. She then completed an internship in small animal internal medicine at the University of Georgia. After completing her internship, Dr. Divita has practiced small animal medicine and emergency medicine in the Tampa Bay Area. She has been a member of the staff at Advanced Veterinary Care of Pasco since 2010. Dr. "D" is kept busy by her elderly dogs, Sally and Taylor, both of which she was able to nurse back to health after they were abandoned. She is also mom to a very ancient, blind Amazon parrot (Sammy) and a kitty named Axel. In the little spare time that she has, Dr. Divita enjoys gardening and reading.
