Lynn has been involved in the veterinary field for over 40 years. Lynn discovered the wonderful world of whippets 25 years ago, fell in love with the breed and became a founding member of Whippet Rescue of Florida. She is also involved in conformation, obedience, agility, coursing, and re-homing whippets and Doberman Pinschers. Lynn says her whippets have taught her an enormous amount about unconditional love, respect, patience and friendship. Lynn and her husband have 2 grown children, 4 wonderful grandchildren, and is owned by 10 whippets, a goat and one mule.
Chelsi is our hospital’s veterinary assistant. She has a keen interest in anesthesia and surgery, in addition to nursing care. Chelsi is married to a terrific guy named Kyle. They are parents to 2 dogs, Luna and Zander and three cats, Milo, Kiki and Binx.
Lisa has been working as a veterinary technician since 2008 and excels not only in nursing care but laboratory diagnostics. She is married to R.J. and has 2 young children, Trenton and Lily. Two dogs (Koda & Moo) and 2 cats (Casey & Aurora) complete her family.
Hailey is our part time kennel assistant. She has always had a love for all kinds of animals and is planning to be a veterinarian one day. Hailey is presently attending college at. She and her family live with 5 horses, 4 mini donkeys, a macaw, 2 snakes and a slew of golden retrievers named Chase, Bosco, Dexter, Hope, Jasper, Mac, Pride and Whiskey.
Dara is our newest member to our team. Before starting her new journey in the veterinary field, she was in pharmacy for 20 years. Dara decided in 2013 that it was time for a change and time to do what she truly loved, veterinary medicine. With her, she brings knowledge in medicine, surgery, routine practice and emergency medicine. At home, she has a wonderful husband, Dan, to who she married in 2008; two sons, Nicholas and Gavin (who also share her compassion for animals) and their dog Mia.
When you walk into Advanced Veterinary Care, you can’t help but feel at home as you are greeted by the ever-smiling, witty and caring, Leigh. Leigh has worked with Dr. Sattler for almost 18 years and makes it her mission to welcome both you and your pet and to ensure both of you have a great experience with us. Leigh is married to Ronnie for 30+ years and they have 4 children, a golden retriever named Mack, who works full time at the clinic with his mom, a cockatiel and two cats. She enjoys playing golf and watching all of the Boston sports teams.
